Q. Is ThyroAid GMO free?
A. We can't claim the product is GMO free because it is not something tested for however to the best of our knowledge this product contains no GMO ingredients.
Q. Will this replace thyroid meds?
A. You will want to have your PCP check your levels to see if you'll need to dose down or stop medicine if this returns you to normal. It may also depend on what dose you take. Some of our customers chose this instead of thyroid prescription because they're at the lowest of the "normal" with their blood work.

Hypothyroidism is generally treated with synthetic thyroid hormone — and soy has long been thought to interfere with the body's ability to absorb the medication. However, there's no evidence that people who have hypothyroidism should avoid soy completely.
Because ThyroAid is not a synthetic thyroid hormone but instead supports the body’s natural thyroid function then it is not believed to be affected by soy especially at the minimal levels found in the product.
